Meet Dr. Palmieri

Dr. Palmieri graduated cum laude from Williams College in Massachusetts and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania. After obtaining his dental degree, he  spent 3 years as a Lieutenant in the United States Dental Navy Corps. Upon completion of his service, he continued his post graduate education and he received a Certificate in Orthodontics from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine.

He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, Northeastern Society of Orthodontists, New York State Society of Orthodontists, New York State Dental Association and the Nassau County Dental Society. Dr. Palmieri has held various leadership positions throughout his career, including being a past President of the Nassau County Dental Society, and a member of its Executive Board, Board of Directors, and Chairman of the Public & Professional Relations Committee. In addition, he has previously served as Chair of the Children’s Dental Health Month on state and local levels for 10 years.  Dr. Palmieri is also a past President of the Orthodontic Alumni Society of Columbia University.

He is dedicated to supporting the Long Island Community where he was born and raised. In addition to organizing an annual food drive to benefit Long Island Cares - the Harry Chapin Food Bank, Palmieri Orthodontics is a proud supporter of the Oceanside Middle School Marching Band, Rockville Centre Little League/Basketball, Leggz Dance Studio, South Side Middle School Robotics Club, 5 Star Gymnastics Academy, St. Agnes Parish, ASPCA, Canine Companions and many others.
